Information, What Information? Shared decision making not without information

This Patients Association report finds that the majority of patients do not believe they are receiving enough information from the NHS on a range of topics, including services, and the effectiveness and side effects of treatments. Nearly 70% of patients do not feel involved or only a little bit involved with decision making about their care, whilst 48 % feel that healthcare professionals are not taking their views into account.
