Management of Adults With Diabetes Undergoing Surgery and Elective Procedures: Improving Standards aims to raise standards of care for people with diabetes undergoing operative or investigative procedures requiring a period without food. It has seven sections, outlining the roles and responsibilities of each group of healthcare professionals at each stage of the patient’s journey.
