National diabetes inpatient audit 2010
According to an audit published by NHS Diabetes, people with diabetes account for 15 per cent of inpatients in England. This audit analysed clinical data from over 206 hospitals and patient questionnaires to examine diabetes patients’ experience of care in the NHS.
Urgent and emergency care clinical audit toolkit
This learning tool aims to support and improve the quality of urgent and emergency care services for patients. The toolkit is aimed at all providers of urgent and emergency care and is intended to be a practical guide on checking the quality and care provided and continually learning from experience to improve care.
Inpatient services survey 2010
The 8th national survey of adult acute hospital inpatients gathered the views over 66,000 who were admitted to hospital with at least one overnight stay. ULHT’s survey results can be found here. The results from the survey are primarily intended for use by NHS trusts to help improve patient experience and their performance.
